Services FAQs

What type of auto glass repair services does One Stop Auto Glass offer?

One Stop Auto Glass specializes in windshield repair, replacement, and recalibration services.

We also offer auto door glass replacementrear window replacement, and ADAS calibration โ€” all performed on-site at your location.

How do I know when to replace or repair my windshield?

There are specific criteria that determine when it’s appropriate to repair or replace your windshield. While some chips and small cracks can be repaired, replacing your windshield is often necessary for your safety. Our expert technicians offer free inspections backed by integrity and high-quality customer service…and they adhere to state and insurance-approved guidelines and/or recommendations.

A good rule of thumb is good visibility = safe driving. Your safety is our top priority!

Can my chip be repaired, or does it need a full replacement?

Damage in the driver’s direct line of sight, edge cracks, or larger breaks usually require replacement. We’ll give you an honest assessment โ€” no upselling.

Is it safe to drive with a cracked windshield?

It depends on the size and location of the damage. Even a small crack can compromise the structural integrity of your windshield and obstruct your line of sight. In Florida, driving with a cracked windshield that impairs visibility can result in a citation. If you’re unsure, call us โ€” we offer free inspections and will give you a straight answer.

Do you replace door glass and rear windows, too?

Yes. In addition to windshields, we replace auto door glass (driver’s side, passenger’s side, front and rear doors) and rear windows, including heated back glass with defroster reconnection. All services are performed at your location.

What is ADAS recalibration and do I need it?

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) includes cameras, sensors, lane departure warnings, and automatic emergency braking that are mounted to or calibrated through your windshield. After replacement, these must be recalibrated to function correctly. We assess every vehicle and perform recalibration whenever required, because your safety isn’t optional.

We back all of our work with a lifetime workmanship guarantee. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.

Insurance & Cost FAQs

Does my insurance cover windshield replacement in Florida?

Under Florida Statute ยง 627.7288, comprehensive auto insurance policies must include full glass coverage with no deductible. If you carry comprehensive coverage, there’s a strong chance your windshield replacement costs you nothing. We verify your coverage before we start. Just call, and we’ll check in minutes.

How much does it cost to replace a windshield?

Windshields have been designated as safety equipment on your vehicle. As such, under Florida no fault title XXXVII Chapter 627.7288, there is no cost replacement providing you have comprehensive coverage when filing an insurance claim. In addition, deductibles do not apply. But if you don’t choose to use your insurance for whatever reason, we provide free estimates and affordable prices.

How does the insurance claims process work?

We handle it for you, from start to finish. Once you confirm your coverage, we file the claim, coordinate with your insurance company, and bill them directly. You just pick a time that works for you and let us take care of the rest. We accept all major insurance carriers.

Is there any cost to me, even with insurance?

In most cases with comprehensive coverage in Florida, there is no out-of-pocket cost to you (no deductible, no copay). Florida law is among the most protective in the country when it comes to auto glass coverage. We’ll verify your policy details before any work begins.
